A electronic control unit (ECU’s) is defined as electronics controlling a physical machine such as a washing machine, robot or car. Those units are becoming more and more complex and, in many cases, combined into a larger network of units.
Prevas, over the years, has provided test solutions for ECU’s, both small for simple single units and larger for a complex network of units.
Today’s ECU’s require a complex test environment in order to conduct the testing. Hardware In the Loop (HIL), used to simulate the environment, is well proven technology. Previously HIL was an expensive solution, used only by the aerospace and automotive industry. Today, we can provide this technology using ordinary PC’s in our test systems.
In order to be able to provide customized ECU test solutions to our customers, we have created a toolbox called xMove with components, processes, and knowledge on how to provide this ECU test solution.
