Prevas has developed best practices, solutions and reports that can be adapted to the specific need and system environment. For us it is not only to produce a report or an alarm that someone might act on – we produce the alert and the information and generate a work order that is assigned to the one responsible and then we make sure that the incident is reported back and added to the asset history. To find out what is really important and to make sure that we act on the information – is what makes the difference. This solution is referred to as alert management.
The Prevas Infor EAM solution has a configurable alert management module that generates action work orders to follow up on a predefined asset condition alert. The alert can be defined as a logic condition calculated from a number of conditions in the whole system. The Infor EAM work order work flow can be configured to support any wanted work order flow.
Integration to data collection and SCADA systems
The Infor EAM system can be integrated to any data collection system. Alarms are generated in the data collection system or in the EAM system based on aggregated data. Alarms with asset data and information about the asset condition initiate the work order to deal with the process further. In SCADA or DCS solutions the EAM system is typically accessible via a right click on the asset.
Infor EAM has a built in Cognos report generator that is used to generate and distribute traditional reports via the user interface or via e-mail. A number of typical standard reports are available for different uses. Prevas works closely with the customers to define the business processes and the corresponding reports needed to manage the processes and to assess the asset performance.
Prevas also offers an EAM Click Tech server in which standard reports as well as drill down OLAP (On-line Analytical Processes) analyses can be made.
